SEOUL -- 'Optimus G Pro', a Full HD smartphone by LG Electronics, announced to be the official sponsor for the Korean national team for 2013 WBC (World Baseball Classic).
WBC is a world baseball match where professional baseball players from major league teams participate, representing their own country. Korean national team has won second place on the second WBC held in 2009. The 2013 WBC is in its third time and will open on March 2nd.
LG Electronics, an official sponsor corporate for Korea's WBC team, will conduct diverse cheering events such as score prediction and other host of events for the grand victory with support messages to the team. Additionally, 'Optimus G Pro Pep Team' will visit the match to root for the national team on sight.
Optimus G Pro presents advanced high-definition screen display compared to its previous HD screens by mounting 5.5 inch Full HD IPS Display. It enables users to experience first class screen display especially for sports programs such as baseball match.
Additionally, QSlide 2.0 allows users to process three tasks simultaneously by enabling them to open two more windows on the screen which enables users to watch the match without any interruption.
Besides, LG Electronics has been greatly contributed to unpopular events such as women's baseball, by supporting LG Cup Women's Baseball last year.
